With beautiful images and compelling anecdotes Menena will share her real story, born from the book The Black Book of Colors that later inspired her book Close Your Eyes that We Will See and how Thomas an imaginary character, changed the life of a real person, Lucero Márquez.

Join us at a special presentation, where author/artist Menena Cottin, will discuss how the search for essence through synthesis has been a constant in her work. Starting with the design of logos early in her career, to her present work as an illustrator and writer, and how this this path led her to the creation of illustrated conceptual books, in which by using the minimum resources she is able to convey intricate ideas, concepts and emotions.
