Vicente Galaso has a degree in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Master in Disability Diagnostics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and Master in Clinical Practice from the Complutense University.
“I believe in art and culture as a tool for social transformation, the importance of creativity and artistic practice in public schools to form free citizens, and promoting accessibility of culture for everyone. Cultural institutions need a plural and diverse approach to society and eliminate the word disability from the dictionary. I believe in the richness of heterogeneous groups and art and culture as a tool to reconcile knowledge of the other.” Vicente previously worked at ONCE, ONCE Foundation and Hacienda Orphan Foundation, developing educational projects, psychosocial counseling and neurocognitive rehabilitation. |
