ABOUT US

SaludArte Foundation in its mission of patronage of the Arts, has developed a very important and relevant artistic events programming, mainly in the fields of Fine Arts and Music.

Agreements with institutions such as the Teatro Real de Madrid, the New World Symphony in Miami, Florida Grand Opera, the Museum for the Fine Arts in Houston or The System for Children and Youth Orchestras of Venezuela, help this institution organize and promote activities of a high artistic level.

SaludArte has been an important platform for artistic events both in the field of visual arts and classical music. In the first, Saludarte develops an extensive portfolio of work with Latin American contemporary artists, with its headquarters in Miami, which allows a vast activity of reference exhibitions in this field, and offers both big international names as well as newcomers. In parallel, in the field of classical music, with the guidance of Spanish conductor Pablo Mielgo, SaludArte has developed an intense cooperation with the System of Youth and Children Orchestras of Venezuela (Prince of Asturias Award of Arts 2008), organizing a binational Festival between Spain and Venezuela, as well as betting on a new program called IberOpera, with Placido Domingo as the honorary president. All of this helps Saludarte Foundation organize and develop important international projects.

With support from personalities such as Placido Domingo, José Antonio Abreu, Michael Tilson Thomas and Carlos Cruz Diez, as well as companies and public institutions in the countries where it operates, Saludarte Foundation has been able to increase the level of artistic excellence of all the events it organizes.

Finally we must highlight the cultural project that is being built for the City of Miami through the Foundation’s new space in the Wynwood District, with the intention in the coming years to make this place an important reference in the fields of Music and Arts of this vibrant city that is Miami.
